I have 25 plus years’ experience helping the most iconic businesses solve their most pressing creative and branding problems. I have led projects to improve consumer perceptions, strengthen brand base, grow business and social presence, launch new products, and elicit positive press for leading consumer brands. I have launched a theme park, Disney’s California Adventure, and illustrated a book for McDonald’s Happy Meals. And along the way, I have worked on well-known accounts like Lou Malnati’s, Kellogg’s, Tropicana, Disney, Hallmark, McDonald’s, UnitedHealthcare, Marshall’s and P&G.

Collaborated with the Lou Malnati’s graphic design team to develop a new look and menu for their 50+ locations; Illustrated front and back cover designs, along with multiple art elements;

Partnered with Lou Malnati’s to create a mural celebrating their longstanding relationship with Gilda’s Club of Chicago

VP, Associate Creative Director, Leo Burnett     2010 - January 2019

Produced an integrated marketing campaign (TV, print, social, collateral and PR) for McDonald’s helping to rebrand “I’m Lovin’ It” and create a Super Bowl worthy promotion-  Pay with Lovin’; The promotion grew consumer engagement by 300% and played out in 14,000 McDonald’s restaurants nation-wide

Worked across brand for family, adult and kid categories, creating a brand look/style guide and an animated campaign with original characters educating children about nutrition; Incorporated those characters into original books to pair with Happy Meals and fuel in-store reading programs. Based on the success of the initiative, McDonald’s printed 23 million books in 3 different languages.

Launched Kellogg’s Special K Protein cereal, tapping into consumer insights around New Years’ resolutions, with print, TV spots, OOH and a resolutions-based website.

Launched Kellogg’s writable wrapper Rice Krispies Treats for parents to connect with kids during back-to-school (TV and social).

Mentored and supervised junior teams in the development of client campaigns. 


Associate Creative Director, Leo Burnett      2004  -  2010

Produced detailed TV storyboards/commercials showing sequence and timing of story development for Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Hallmark and Disney; including many promotional tie-ins with McDonald’s and their movie partners (Sony, Pixar, DreamWorks and Universal)

Formulated layout designs/presentations and material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphic look, animation, video and/or sound for all clients. 

Created and reviewed art materials, copy materials, and printed proofs, and presented to clients for approvals.

Pitched and won increased agency business with the launch of Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim, CA and the global assignment of Disneyland Paris.
