EXAMPLES OF MY ILLUSTRATION WORK:
Deana’s Big Dreams was one of four books we created for McDonald’s. I personally illustrated this book which tells the story of a tiny dinosaur who yearns to grow bigger. She eventually accomplished this task by learning how to eat right. The last page included a detachable “Deana growth chart” to help children track their own height progression. While smaller versions of the book were included with Happy Meals throughout the U.S., larger books were shared in select store reading events.
A recent collaboration with the Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria graphic design team allowed me to illustrate new menus for their 50+ locations.
The “Anatomy of an Ad Agency” is a cross-section of life inside a bustling advertising firm. It was an ongoing project that I illustrated and developed with and for my former boss, John Montgomery. While some agency details have ultimately changed, much of the illustration (and angst!) remains relevant today. This wonky portrayal of life in the ad biz ultimately lived on as a poster, which helped John pitch the CBS series, "The Crazy Ones."
Additional departments were drawn to create a full picture of the advertising experience. While these were never incorporated into the original drawing, they provided more humor and texture to the Agency and its people.
